Silver Lab is a darkroom timer. It does not know who you are, where you are, or what you’re developing — and it never will.

Silver Lab does not collect, record, or transmit any personal information. There are no accounts, no sign-ups, and no user profiles. The app has no knowledge of your identity.
No Network Requests
The app makes zero network requests. It does not contact any server, API, or third-party service. Your device’s internet connection is irrelevant to Silver Lab’s operation.
Local Storage Only
The only data Silver Lab stores is your in-app preferences — things like your chosen agitation timing and sound selection. This data is saved locally on your device using Apple’s standard UserDefaults mechanism and never leaves your device.
No Cookies
Neither this website nor the Silver Lab app uses cookies or any equivalent tracking technology.
No Third-Party SDKs
Silver Lab contains no analytics libraries, advertising SDKs, crash reporters, or any other third-party code that could observe your usage. What you do in the app stays in the app.
Children’s Privacy
Because Silver Lab collects no data whatsoever, it is safe for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised effective date. Because we collect no data, any changes are unlikely to affect you in any meaningful way.
