Silver Lab is a free darkroom development timer application for film photographers. By downloading or using the app you agree to these terms.
Usage of Application
Silver Lab is provided for both commercial and non-commercial use. You may use the app to time and guide your own film development processes. The app is provided free of charge and as-is.
Development Times & Chemistry
The development times, agitation schedules, and chemical process information provided within Silver Lab are offered as a reference and starting point. Film development involves chemistry that varies by brand, batch, age, temperature, and individual darkroom conditions. You are solely responsible for verifying development times and procedures against the manufacturer’s recommendations for your specific chemistry and film stocks. Gregory Schuch and Silver Lab are not liable for any results — including underdeveloped, overdeveloped, or ruined film — arising from use of the app.
No Warranty
Silver Lab is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for any particular purpose. Timer accuracy depends on your device’s hardware and operating system, and may be affected by background processes or low-power modes.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Gregory Schuch shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Silver Lab, including but not limited to lost or damaged film, wasted chemistry, or equipment issues.
Intellectual Property
The Silver Lab name, logo, design, and code are the property of Gregory Schuch. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer the app without written permission.
